York Racecourse lies within a mile of the city centre and is served by convenient road, rail, bus and air access routes.
York offers a wide range of accommodation, from luxury spa hotels to self-catering getaways, giving you an eclectic choice of inviting places to rest your head. Whether business or leisure, or a combination of the two, the city has somewhere for every taste and budget, including large block-bookings for major conferences and exhibitions, and most within a short distance of York Racecourse.
In association with York Racecourse, and whose name says it all, not only home to the horses when at the venue, human beings are also catered for at Stableside, one of the only 4 Star-rated Hostels where guests are afforded a true Yorkshire welcome.
York Racecourse entrance leads off from the Knavesmire Road and Campleshon Road.
Car parking is complimentary for all visitors attending an event at York Racecourse.
We have over 1500 parking spaces across the site, all within a short walk to our venue entry.
There are no barriers in place. All we ask, is that our guests park with consideration for other users.
Accessible vehicle spaces are available at this main entrance. Passengers arriving by taxis or alternative vehicles may disembark here.
