The Prize

One lucky winner will receive a wedding package for up to 50 guests in the Parade Ring Restaurant at York Racecourse, available on selected dates in 2027.

The prize includes:

• A wedding celebration for 50 daytime guests

• A wedding breakfast from the entry-level wedding menu

Competition Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to this competition:

Eligibility

• The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
• Only one entry per person via social media will be counted (excluding bonus entries from the wedding fayre).
• Employees of York Racecourse and associated partners involved in the competition are not eligible to enter.

Competition Dates

• The competition opens upon publication of the promotional post.
• Entry closes at 16:00 on Sunday 29 March 2026.
• Entries received after this time will not be included.

 Winner Selection

• The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
• The winner will be contacted via direct message from the official account only.
• If the winner does not respond within 7 days, York Racecourse reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

 The Prize

• The first prize includes a wedding package for 50 daytime guests at York Racecourse in the Parade Ring Restaurant.
• The prize is valid for new wedding bookings only and must take place by the end of 2027.
• All bookings are subject to venue availability.
• The wedding must take place on selected available dates and excludes race days and major event days.
• The prize includes:
  • Entry-level wedding breakfast menu for 50 daytime guests
  • Prosecco reception drink
  • Venue hire for the daytime wedding celebration & ceremony

Additional Costs

The following are not included in the prize:

• Registrar or celebrant fees
• Evening reception or buffet
• Additional guests beyond the 50 included
• Accommodation or travel
• Venue styling, entertainment, photography, flowers, décor, or upgrades unless stated
• Any optional extras chosen by the couple

These items can be added to the booking at standard venue pricing.

 Prize Conditions

• The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
• No cash alternative will be offered.
• The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer unless agreed by York Racecourse.

General

• York Racecourse reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition at any time if necessary.
• By entering the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
• The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable promotional activity related to the competition.
